The Talk of the town salon has become an established brand in Memphis, and is locally owned by Marisa Dawson and family. Located in the heart of downtown Memphis on 302 S. Main Street, this salon caters to the entire family with a full list of services. The entire group of employees are dedicated to serve their clients as well as their community. The salon was highlighted in the locally produced Grace Magazine, where the glam squad used their expertise skills to help a high school senior who have faced troubling obstacles. The young woman was pampered before and after her prom and graduation, all thanks to the Talk of Town salon. “We all enjoyed the entire experience”, says Marisa. The beauty queens says that she wants to do more next year for more girls and make it a yearly project.
